On 23.07.2019, in the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works-Sofia,there was held the official ceremony of awarding contracts under the second call for proposals under the Interreg-IPA cross-border programme Bulgaria – Turkey 2014 – 2020.
EUROCLUB WOMAN will work within 12 months under the project “ECO-WOMAN-initiatives for management of natural resources for Safe Life” (No CB 005.2.12.079) as a leading partner from Yambol, Bulgaria. The project will be implemented in partnership with Edirne Chamber of Commerce, Turkey. The contract is under priority axis 1 “Sustainable Environment”, Specific objective 1.2 improving the capacity for nature conservation, sustainable use and management of common natural resources through joint initiatives in the cross-border region. The project is financed under the Interreg-IPA cross-border programme Bulgaria – Turkey 2014 – 2020.
The main objective of the project is to implement joint initiatives related to the protection and improvement of the quality of natural resources-air, water and soil in the cross-border region, by applying a series of good practices related to resource formation and capacity among people for storing and managing the purity of the main components of the natural environment in the cross-border region through training and motivation to apply ecological and organic production to ensure a safe and natural life .
The project activities are diverse, including survey, publishing information brochure, trainings, exchange visits, web site, production and distribution of promotional materials, international seminars and conference.
